The Gala apple is native to New Zealand and was first developed in the 1930’s. It is a cross between Golden Delicious and Kidds Orange Red apples. It was first introduced to the U.S. in 1974.

Fruit Pale golden yellow with red stripes or blush have a firm and crisp texture with a yellow to cream interior having a mild sweet and vanilla-like flavor with a floral aroma
Benefits Apples are excellent for fresh eating, salads and sauces, well used for pies or various baking and freezing.

    Trees/Plants are primarily sold as Bare Root Stock. District Liability ceases when orders are picked up. Seller is not liable for improper handling or planting of plants after consumer has possession. The Blue Water CD is not liable nor guarantees survivability.
