June Bearing, Self-pollinating
The Honeoye Strawberry came out of the Cornell Research Station in Geneva, NY. It is a highly productive, large berried perennial. Bearing just after 1 year, they are one of the early harvest varieties ripening in June. Growing at a moderate rate one can expect a mature plant to reach a height between 12 to 18 inches and a 6 to 12 inch spread. With vibrant green abundant foliage, Honeoye Strawberries will remain productive for 3 to 4 years and have a generally good tolerance to diseases and one of the most winter hardy.
