The Seckel Pear is small, very sweet variety believed to be named after the Pennsylvanian farmer who discovered it in the 18th century. It was grown by Thomas Jefferson at Monticello and was one of his favorite fruits. The Seckel pear produces best when paired with another variety.

Please note that trees, shrubs, packets, and products will not be delivered by mail unless "SHIP TO HOME" is selected at check out. SHIP TO HOME orders will be shipped around April 7th. Your order will be batched together and made available for pickup at a specified and location.

    Trees/Plants are primarily sold as Bare Root Stock. District Liability ceases when orders are picked up. Seller is not liable for improper handling or planting of plants after consumer has possession. The Blue Water CD is not liable nor guarantees survivability.
