Liriodendron

The Tulip tree is one of the largest and most valuable hardwoods in the U.S. due to their fast growth and that the lowest tree limbs start high up in the tree making the trunk stronger. Native American used this tree for dugout canoes. It is used most for furniture making by being the subsurface and structural support.
