They grow fast at a rate of nearly 24 inches per year. Once mature, they will be on average 15 to 20 feet with a slightly less spread. Flowering exquisite showy white flowers just before the leaves arrive in spring. The leaves are simple, glossy green that alternate on the twig growing up to 3 inches long. They are thick with slight midrib curves folding the edges inward and fine teeth on the margin. Although tolerate to other types, production may be less and are sensitive to salt and drought.

Soil Slightly acidic, heavy, moist and welldrained
Fruit Large golden yellow skin, brownish red blush and classic shape with smooth white flesh, harvesting from mid-August to midSeptember
Benefits A long lasting producer from 50 to 75 years, though some still yield fruit after 100 years. Commonly eaten raw or canned but keeps it shape when baked.

Trees/Plants are primarily sold as Bare Root Stock. District Liability ceases when orders are picked up. Seller is not liable for improper handling or planting of plants after consumer has possession. The Blue Water CD is not liable nor guarantees survivability.
